Logo_3.45193148_stdThe Lambs Christian Preschool began in 1988 as a ministry of the Grace Bible Fellowship Church. Our purpose is to provide an early childhood education with a Christ- centered atmosphere at a time when growth is rapid and the child is impressionable. We take our directive from the Word of God that instructs us to “feed My lambs,” and, to “train up a child in the way he should go.” Our fervent desire and prayer are “to hear that our children are walking in the truth.” (III John 4)

Offering three and four year old classes, the Preschool seeks to promote the knowledge of God as Creator and Jesus Christ as Savior; nurture the development of Christian values; foster healthy mental, physical, emotional and social growth in a Christian atmosphere; and, provide an alternative to secular education for the Grace Church family and neighborhood.

Our curriculum includes an introduction to letters, phonics, numbers, science, social studies, and computers. We encourage you to contribute ideas, share concerns, and discuss with us the joys of guiding your young child.

A close home-school relationship is always beneficial to the children. Parents are always welcome to join us during our class time. We encourage participation by inviting parents to join us on field trips and during special classroom activities.

    • We believe in the Bible- the infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God.
    • We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and his return in glory and power.
    • We believe all mankind are sinners in need of regeneration by the Holy Spirit which enables the Christian to live a godly life and perform good works.
    • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
    • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Tuition Assistance Available Through Weidenhammer Scholarship Fund

The Robert J. & Bertha L. Weidenhammer Lambs Preschool Scholarship Trust was established in 1992 to benefit needy students of The Lambs Preschool. Robert Weidenhammer graciously provided the intial funds, on behalf of his grandchildren, Kate and John Weidenhammer, to honor his wife, Bertha. The trust continues today in tribute to both Robert and Bertha. The annual interest generated by the trust gives a yearly award to one or more Preschool students to provide financial assistance for the Preschool’s tuition. Robert desired the trust to exist “until the rapture of the Church by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

Scholarship applications will be available in the fall for the 2017-2018 school year.

  • General Information:

Please feel free to use your imagination! The children do need a little snack mid-morning, but if it is too sugary or large, it presents a problem for the remaining portion of the morning and at your lunch time. Also we would like to request that you do not bring peanuts, other types of nuts or peanut butter as a snack. (There are many children who are allergic to nuts.) Snack is just voluntary so please do not feel obligated to bring something; however, if you choose to do so, we would greatly appreciate it.

If your child would like to celebrate his/her birthday in class, you may wish to provide a special snack for that day. A signup sheet is located on the bulletin outside of the classroom.
