For most people, the words, “I’m sorry,” come all to easily and mean all too little. They say the words and then go on just as they did before. That makes a lie out of the words, “I’m sorry.” Today’s devotional shows what needs to be done. God bless you.
Because of Calvary,
Proverbs 28:13 (ESV)ADD_CONTENT_HERE
‘Tis not enough to say,
‘I’m sorry and repent.’
And then go on from day to day
Just as we always went.
Repentance is to leave
The sins we loved before,
And show that we in earnest grieve
By doing them no more.”
