Today is election day so please don’t forget to vote. Why complain about
the way the country is trending if you don’t bother to do what you can
to influence its direction? And when you vote, remember that you will
have to give an account of that vote at the last judgment. Vote
seriously and vote, not for the one who promises the most freebies, but
for the one who will seek to advance the cause of God and truth and who
will try to end the horrors of abortion that plague our land. Today’s
attached devotional will give you food for thought for today. God bless you.
Because of Calvary,
Psalm 18:2 (ESV)
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
“America was founded by people who believed that God was their rock of safety. He is ours. I recognize we must be cautious claiming that God is on our side, but I think its’ all right to keep asking if we’re on His side.” [Ronald Reagan: Quotes & Quips edited by David Stanford Burr, (New York: Crestline, 2015), p. 9]
